Rates can be quoted for any indexing project you have. Please send a description of the project, the time frame, and if possible five sample pages to info@shelleyindexing.com
My price will include:
- Supplementary proofreading
- Supplementary data verification
- Index delivered on time and in the format of your choice
Rates are generally given on a per indexable page basis, but they are negotiable because they depend on a number of factors:
- Audience of book: professional researcher, student, or general public
- Number of index entries per page (density of material)
- Turn-around time
- Page or entry limit to index: a short, limited index often takes longer than one that is comprehensive and unlimited
